Well produced beats with club potential. A solid break for the dancefloor. I also like the way the sounds is chubbed into bits in the the buildups of the beat.
Structure/Melody
Nice dark melodic trancy strings that dos'nt sound to outdated. The acid sounds are also great addons for coolness to the melody. It actually makes me think of some paul oakenfold productions. Especially on the awesome swordfish soundtrack.
Mixing/Originality
A really thrilling mix that works its way into your brain. Excellent produced and an original creative. I would'nt mind some real instrument or vocal bit to make a little extra up in there but it is a minor setback. I love it:)
Overall
All shows enormously good production skillz. Thrilling and musical mashup. Great club breakmonster!

Processor - My industry

My industry is a cool industrial/electrobreak tune with an amazing BIG sound. Processor has been in the game for 17
years now so I guess by now he is intitled to call this his indutry! :) The beat is a classic prodigy-style break
with a nice and hard snare that really smacks in your ear from the first listen! The beat does not have much variety -
but with all the other mind-blowing elements this is not really a problem - cuz the works! The section at 05:16
where the beat runs alone shows the beat raw and kicking with a booming bass to go with it...nicely done!
Structure/Melody
The tracks starts up by creating a nice atmosphere of industrial sounds which moves on to a progressive
"fluke-style" bassline! The spoken words and screams fits perfect in this twisted world that this tunes creates. The
synthlines are superb and without doubt the best in this contest! The different elements in this song matches
perfectly and keeps on changes which makes this tune interesting thoughout the entire tune!
Mixing/Originality
The mixing and production-work on this track is close to perfection! This makes the tune enjoyable to listen too -
which can often be a problem for experimental tunes! Processor has an original style which blends a lot of the
classic break elements with a twisted industrial sound!
Overall
Overall this is an impressive tune that really deserves a lot of respect. Its not easy for an experimantal tunes to
go this high in contest full off "commercial" rock-steady break tunes! 100 % balaced tune with much originality and
still catchy enough to catch the listener from the frist listen! Quite an achievement...

The beatproduction grooves its way all into some of the heaviest and coolest in this contest. Heavy kick and snare pattern with a boast of energy.
Structure/Melody
I like the back and forth slapping energy with that phat prodigy-styled basslines. Good structure and rocky guitars and it's nice and short, wich fits the diversiy of this tune. The lack of diversity in the structure of this tune could be little slim and critical for a 7 minute track.
Mixing/Originality
The mixing is great. This nice supa sweet tune has great potential for the contest ep. Could be a little stronger maybe with some robot screaming a little for a vocalside in it. But the track is good as it is.
Overall
Solid production with a great overall energy. A pump action break tune.
Big bastard breaks with loads of energy.

This track it groovy for sure! Driven by an awesome vocal and some fresh and funky stabs! The beat is programmed from
scratch which gives it a kind of nu skool twist! The beats could have benefited by adding some break loops or some
additional snares to power it up a little! However the other elements of the track are so cool that it doesnt matter
too much that the beats are a little on the mininalistic side!
Structure/Melody
The structure and melody works really well with the vocals and makes this tunes nice catchy! The synthlines and
stabs and well done and adds a cool and fresh flavor to it all. Without the vocal the synthlines could not have
carried the tune but together it really makes a great cocktail!
Mixing/Originality
The mixing shows an incontestable talent in Impulsive as a producer - however it seems like the break style may be
new for him. It has all the elements that makes a great song - but lacks a little rudeness and street-feel that
break tunes usually have!
Overall
Overall this is a catchy and funky tune that has all the potentials to be a commercial success. The vocals and musical
elements are perfect so with a harder nu skool break on this could be next big thing! After the very first listen
this tunes is getting on your mind and this is truely the secret of a successful tune! Great work...

Atomique - Polykarbon

I love the beats and the "fiddle with the scratchin'" attitude in this tune. The breakin' electrobeat is addictive and well produced.
Structure/Melody
The synthproduction in "polykarbon" is a pure joy of acid and a brilliant melody full of hope. The effects are all hot shit.
Mixing/Originality
An original tune with all mixed superbly together. The funk qoutient rises with the scratchin alongside the acid input. We're only needing 3 more tracks to put out an Atomique ep on bbp. Production skillz are none the least some of the greatest in this contest.
Overall
This is a cool atmospheric tune that deserves to go all the way to the top, with buzzing fly vocals and monstrous synths. An electro anthem!

DJ Breakz - Xtacy

Xtacy has a nice and steady oldskool break that builds up nicely thoughout the track. Even if the intension is to revive the oldskool '92 style breaks I still think the beat sounds fresh and cool enought to work for the new audience! The beats are well dont and flows great with the progressive bassline - but I am missing a little bit of varience. Something that would surprise the listener...but overall a solid work on the beat for sure!
Structure/Melody
The structure of the song is very well functioning and well produced! The pumping bassline and simple synthlines are staying true to the original '92 hardcore breaks style. The same toolbox they had that time are used to create this track - which is pretty cool! The vox side however could have been better - and made this track more accessible for the modern day break listener. The vocal sampels seems to be placed a little random - even the title given "xtacy" voice is only used for a short time in the track? Maybe this is intensional...
Mixing/Originality
The mixing of this track is flawless - and for sure this is an original consept. I also enjoyed this era of the breaks history so I totally agree on a revival of this. However I afraid not too many people will follow us if nothing new is added. The beats are still working but I think it will take a little more synthwork to really "break" though with this!
Overall
Overall this is cool track and shows great potentials. Its easy to tell that Dj Breaks has been working with this style for a long time - as everything is really well balanced. The track might a little bit too long and repeative - a 4 min version would have worked out better I think! I hope to hear more of this '92 style revival idea in the future and I wish Dj Breaks the best of luck with it!

Well the structure is basic and with a couple of buildups and the melody is good and twisty. Its a little bit the same melody all along and I wouldnt mind some more melody in there. Something that would shake you into a b-piece or a transpose to a new note in the bassline and throughout the twisty synth melody
Mixing/Originality
Really well produced track and would easily go into a nuskool djset. Good mixing. Generally making a track original is hard, and in this track I'd migtht add some weird chubbed up catchy vocal to make it stand out more and make it a bit more original.
Overall
Good nu skool with twisty synthvibes and melody. I like it and it it breaks and glides with bumping beats all the way. It only lacks on a little something to make it stand out more. Really well produced. Solid dancefloor groove. Have some of that!

This is not where the focus has been in this track, but it hangs in there with a superfast repeative break in the background and good build ups with good effects. Id like some more diversity on this part though. I like it a bit heavyer as well. Little more production in this part like compression would do wonders, and make drums tighter and sound a bit louder.

Great filmic, orchestrial melodies throughout the whole track, that brings me back thoughts of the music in The Matrix movies. A nice structure with a good intro that throws you into the track. About two minutes into the track comes a great part with some nice familiar melody. Really nicely composed if made from scratch like I asume. This is definitively the strong side of the track.
Mixing/Originality
Great intro and nicely composition, and I fell for the orchestre sounds that makes this track stand out in this contest:)
Overall
Great soundscape! Enough originality to bring this track into the top rated tracks. Would fit right into a movie. Mental movie music of the highest order.

Let start out by setteling that this track is not for the soft ears or people with heart conditions... This is raw powered drum n bass with a experimental twist!
The beat is without doubt the driven factor of this track - is throws the listener from side to side with a smacked up n chopped up amen break done to perfection! The beat keeps on changing at all times which makes this track really interesting! The hi-pass filtered beats in the intro works out really well and takes us well into the drum madness that will go on in the rest of the song! Really well done!
Structure/Melody
The melody consists of noise and bass to acompany the drilling breats. A simple but cool synthlines are used thoughout the track. Since the beats are always changing it doesnt really matter that there are not so many musical elements - the beats are the melody! The track is totally unstructured which im sure is the intension!
Mixing/Originality
No doubt about it - this is a original track with a lot of cool ideas. The track is well produced and Proton Kid really knows what he is doing!
Overall
Overall this is an interesting tune which really pushes the edge of the dark and raw sides of the breaks scene. Unfortunantly this also means that this track is not very accessible for most people - you really need to be deep into the underground of breaks to enjoy this tune. The originality of this tunes is great but it does tense to be darker and harder just for the shake of being underground...this is not a tendency I support but I guess it would be no fun if noone would push the limits :)
