Biography:
I started DJ-ing in 1999 and the whole thing got me really fast. Even from the very beggining, when i conceived the first sets i liked to move from one genre to another, depending on the feeling that i had during the mix. Just like now, i didn't want to play just one kind of music so that people could say 'look, he is a DnB Dj' (or a breakbeat Dj etc). No, i'm a free Dj and i play what i feel is right for that very moment of each and every party. Shortly after the first sets i started a colaboration with an alternative theatre group with whom i took part at some international film and theatre festivals. It was a great fusion of DJ-ing and 'new wave' theatre and people were really enjoying it;and the results came in april 2000 when we won the big prize at a festival in Lausanne, Switzerland. After a while i started playing at parties in my hometown, in different clubs, in some of them being resident. Three years ago i started producing tracks, after some friends of mine convinced me that i have to do more that DJ-ing, to create my own tracks. And i'm lovin' it since then. About ten of my tracks were often played at a radio show which is called Zona Libera (The Free Zone) on Radio Guerrilla Bucharest, tracks which were signed with 'Internal Error'. Some of the tracks featured Tudor Runcanu at bass guitar, electric guitar and keyboards. I also played with Planet Junk (a romanian DJ/producer) at a set of parties ( which were called 'Les Gros Barons Sessions') for a period of almost an year in different clubs from my hometown and other cities in Transylvania. My biggest achievement till now is that i was one of the three finalists at the Heineken Music Thirst Studio 2006, in Romania, and i was thrilled that Groove Armada have chosen me to be a finalist:) The track that i produced for this contest featured the vocalist Anna. Also, in 2007 I shared the stage with Al -Haca Soundsystem, Jahcoozi, Aquasky, Sensor and great Djs from Romania. The latest events were at Heineken Thirst Studio 2007 final in Romania where i ended up on the third place.
